The Night Blight Approaches

It has been a week of change and work. One of the things about having a baby is the constant work that goes into making sure they’re provided for, and that your spouse is provided for.

This can cause frustration, lack of sleep, and apathy towards other endeavors, like going to the gym, and getting writing done.

This week was hard and I hope that a new equilibrium I’ve struck will help alleviate all of this as my writing pace has slowed to a crawl, we shall see.

Of course, that is not what you’ve come to hear, you’ve come to hear the future plans of Black Hole Planet 3, and know them you shall!

Two of my books had their contracts nullified early. Specifically, Shades of the Black Stone and Catfish In The Cradle. The transition in ownership regarding Death’s Head Press has led to a new business model and streamlining. One of these books is nearly five years old and the other never really caught on as a seller, so it makes sense that both would be reverted. Both books will be available to buy on Amazon until the end of the month.

Honestly, I’m actually happy with this outcome because it allows me to accelerate my plans of rereleasing Catfish in the Cradle Author’s Preferred Edition. It’ll have a new cover, an altered and expanded upon story, perhaps more…

And that brings me to my next bit of news, I’m starting my own publishing imprint.

Night Blight Press will primarily serve as a vehicle for rereleasing my work that has gone out of print, starting with the aforementioned two books. Of course, there is always room for growth, and I intended for this to eventually see the release of other books and projects that I feel the genre is missing from other authors.

Expect to see Shades of the Black Stone rerelease in the next two months. Catfish in the Cradle later this year.

As for my new work, For A Few Souls More, the sequel to the Magpie Coffin, releases this Tuesday. I’m really excited for all of you to saddle up and ride with Salem again. According to my beta readers so far, they’re really enjoying it.

Currently Watching: Yellowjackets Season 2, this is good T.V. It’s like Lord of the Flies with all girls, and it’s implying something more happened in the wilderness. My wife and I are both hooked and I highly recommend it.

Curren Listening: Bottom of the River by Delta Rae

Current Reading: The Insatiable Hunger of Trees by Samantha Eaton, I just started this today, so I’ll let you guys know.
